The following are the terms and conditions for using Doshic Balance Ayurveda website.
These cover all retail transactions. For the avoidance of doubt, it is assumed that all transactions have taken place in England (regardless of your location) and will be governed by English law.
Doshic Balance Ayurveda owns full copyright of the design of the www.doshicbalance.com, in addition to all text and imagery displayed. Permission must be requested before reproducing any of the site elements. Exception is granted only for the purpose of making a hard copy for the benefit of ordering.
Conditions of use
Doshic Balance Ayurveda reserves the right to refuse to complete any order on the condition it refunds all monies paid in full and where applicable may refuse to complete orders without explanation.
Whilst we always endeavour to have the latest antivirus protection and security updates, neither Doshic Balance nor any of its affiliates, directors, employees or other representatives will be liable for damages arising out of or in connection with use of this Web site including direct, indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties unless negligence on our part can be proved beyond doubt .
A contract will be formed between the Doshic Balance Ayurveda and the customer when the payment has been made by the customer and the card has been debited. The customer will receive an email with an invoice after the order enquiry has been send to Doshic Balance Ayurveda. The invoice must be paid to the bank account provided. After the payment has been received, the customer/you shall be notified of the dispatched order. If the customer/you do not receive the e-mail within 24 hours please make us aware of it as soon as possible by any of the methods included on the contact us page.
The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000: Under the above regulations, the customer/ you may cancel any order, by emailing to us within 7 days of the purchase and receive a full refund within 30 days. The customer/ you must take reasonable care whilst the goods are in the customer/your possession (they must be unopened for hygiene reasons) and in returning them. The return postage will be paid by the customer/you as a non-refundable
Appointments can be booked via telephone/email, booking form or face-to-face. For new clients we require New Patient form to be filled and deposit of 50% of the appointment value paid before your appointment is confirmed.
We keep your personal data safe. The data you give to our Practitioner during your consultations/treatments will stay between You (the Patient) and the Practitioner. We require accurate health data to treat you effectively and safely. If the data given is not accurate or is insufficient, it may result in wrong diagnosis and treatment. Doshic Balance does not take the responsibility of the incorrect information given by the Patient.
Cancellations/ Re-scheduling of appointments
We aim to minimise wastage of clinical time for the benefit of all our clients and patients. We require at least two working days (48h) of advanced notice to cancel or re-schedule appointments. Cancellations with less than two working days (48h) will be subject to charge which is covered by the deposit paid during booking.
Damaged / Faulty and Mis-described goods
Doshic Balance Ayurveda will give a refund (either full or partial) for products which arrive faulty, damaged or not as described. If the customer/you feel this is the case please contact us immediately and we will come to an arrangement to replace or refund the goods. Please Note That The On-Screen Display Of The Colours, Designs, Products May Differ From The Actual Appearance Or Size Of Products Offered On The Website because of the natural origin of the products.
We endeavour to fulfil all orders within 7 days of the order being placed. However we cannot guarantee this. For the benefit of planning it should be assumed that orders will take up to 28 days to be processed.
In the unlikely event of a product being out of stock we will try to contact the customer/you to arrange a refund or to hold the order until the item is in stock. If we cannot contact the customer/you within 7 days we will send the order minus the out of stock item and refund the cost of the item and any postage costs associated with the missing item.
Please note that due to hygiene reasons we can only accept UNUSED products for refund, providing they are returned to us in re-saleable condition and within 14 days of receiving the customer/you order.
- We urge new customers to try our products in their smallest size (where applicable) before purchasing full size products, as we will not be able to accept used products for refund should a sensitivity to a product be discovered at a later stage.
- All return costs will be the customer’s responsibility, unless the customer/you are returning a faulty product.
All UK orders will be sent via Royal Mail 48h tracked at the cost of £3.50 or Royal Mail 24h Tracked at the cost of £4.50 service. All international shipping prices depend on the destination country. Please email us to get a shipping rates outside UK.
Our Shata Dhauta Ghrita products are all natural and handmade by Doshic Balance Ayurveda according to the ancient Ayurvedic traditions and recipes. The consistency and colour may vary from time to time.
